Pilgrim's Progress (Part the
Second)
Written by John Bunyan, a Tinker, in the 1670's.
" "God speaks once, yea twice, yet Man perceiveth it
not, in a Dream, in a Vision of the night, when deep
Sleep falleth upon men, in slumbering upon the bed."
(Job 33:14,15)
"We need not, when abed to lie awake to talk with God,
he can visit us while we sleep, and cause us then to hear
his Voice. Our heart oft-times wakes when we sleep,
and God can speak to that, either by words, by proverbs,
by signs and similitudes, as well as if one was awake." "

So I follow this wise comment with a reminder that for
psychic insight, the first place to look is within yourself.
Through the summer vacation, when we might
engage in more exercise than usual, and are bitten
by bugs and assaulted by leaves causing allergies,
here is one remedy that should help reduce the
discomfort and provide at least temporary relief!
Aches & Itches Bath Salts
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup dry milk
1 cup Epsom salt
1 cup sea salt
Mix all ingredients together in a large ziploc bag.
Add about 1/4 cup of the mixture to your running
bath water and then sink into the tub for a good long
soak!
When the summer vacation becomes too much free
time for your children, or the weather doesn't co-
operate to allow the kids to amuse themselves, it is
interesting and fun to play psychic games with kids.
Children often have excellent natural psychic abilities
although they are not usually fine tuned. Playing psychic
games with your children can help the both of you
strengthen your psychic abilities.
Here are a sampling you may wish to try:
GUESS THE CARD
You need: deck of regular playing cards.
Shuffle the cards well. Select one card at a time and
hold it up facing you. For beginners, have your child
try to determine just the colour of the card. As they
advance, they may be able to visualize the actual
card - it's suit and value.
MENTAL PROJECTION
You need: paper, something to draw with.
Have your child sit down and clear their head of all
thoughts. Tell them you are going to think of something
and that you are going to try and send the image to them.
Tell your child to draw on the paper whatever pops into
their head. See how it relates to what you were projecting.
*This is a great game to do in reverse. Have your child
try to send an image to you.
HOT AND COLD
You need: an object belonging to your child. (Preferably
something they often play with or use).
Hide the object somewhere in your home. Tell your child
what you hid and in what room (for beginners). Let the
child try to sense where it is. Help them out by telling
them if they are getting "hot" or "cold" as they search for
it.
GAMES FOR OLDER CHILDREN -
PICKING UP GOOD VIBRATIONS
You need: small objects belonging to yourself, other
family members or your child's friends.
Have your child hold the object in their dominant hand.
Tell them to close their eyes and feel the energy coming
from the object. Ask them to tell you how the object
makes them feel. What other things do they sense from
it? See if what they say matches up with the personality
and experiences of the person who owns it.
DREAM WORK
You need: journal and pen.
Upon waking, have your child think about any dreams
or visions they remember having. While it is fresh in their
mind, have them write it down in their dream journal. Have
them include how it made them feel, any sounds they heard,
textures or temperatures they felt.
Both of you can analyze the dream for meanings. This is
a great way to probe the secrets of their subconscious.
Have your child look for recurrent themes. Try to pinpoint
what symbols mean what, in your child's dreams.
Make the exercises fun and comfortably time consuming.
Remember we only have these kids with us for a few
short years, and the happy hours they remember with
you may be recounted by them to future generations.
A couple made a deal that whoever died first would
come back and inform the other of the after life. The
woman's biggest fear was that there was no heaven.
After a long life, the husband was the first to go, and
true to his word, he made contact. "Mary... Mary..."
Awestruck, Mary responds, "Is that you Fred?"
"Yes, I have come back like we agreed."
"Well, what is it like?"
Fred excitedly tells his tale, "Well, when I get up in the
morning I have sex, then I have breakfast, then I have
sex again, then I bathe in the sun, then I have sex twice
more, then I have lunch, then I have sex all afternoon
and into the early evening, until bedtime. And, then, I
start all over again the next day."
So happy Mary says, "Oh Fred, you surely must be in
heaven."
Fred replies, "Hell no, Mary, I'm a rabbit in Kansas."

Doing It Yourself with Tarot Timing
I personally feel that time frames reflected in a
Tarot reading are the most misleading and possibly
disappointing parts of such a consultation. As
mentioned in the article below, a person's ill advised
actions can cause the possibilities described in the
reading to vanish like smoke. But the following article
is the best I have ever seen at trying to make time
sense of a Tarot layout.
If you don't attempt to read your own cards, simply
skip this section to our next feature.
Time frame is a concern rarely addressed by Tarot
books or readers. This is a very simple and, someone
I once knew said, elegant Time Frame Reference
System that I have developed over the course of my
professional career.
I have found it to be accurate to within 3 days either
way. You will need a calendar which shows the stages
of the moon to utilize this system effectively. If the card
is upright it represents the coming date, if reversed the
previous one.
As a further note of interest and time frame reference,
I have also found that a Celtic Cross reading will
actualize itself in approximately 3 1/2 weeks.
This system uses the Major Arcana without Key 0
The Fool (the leap of faith) and Key 21 The World
(dancing the dance of life at the centre of the universe)
as I feel they are not fixed in time or space. I have
also included the 12 Zodiac signs and applicable planets,
governing Angel and Day of the Week for each
specified Major Arcana and a very, very brief definition.
This is also helpful when dealing with planetary aspects,
retrogrades and movements. Reversals can be highly
indicative of retrograde, eclipse or void of course activity.

The Minor Cards (1-10) of the individual suits can
also be used to represent time according to their
numbered value, i.e. Ace is one unit. The Cups
represent the days, the Coins measure the weeks,
the Wands indicate the months and the Swords
measure the time in years. Again, if upright they
are looking to the future and if reversed they are
looking towards the past. A more detailed system
for the minors will be forthcoming.
For the purpose of instruction and the enhancement
of Astrological understanding, in particular if Court
Cards are present in your reading, it is worth noting
the following information:
The twelve signs of the Zodiac are divided into
four groups. Each three sign group is called a triplicity.
They are grouped by their element - Earth (Coins),
Air (Swords), Fire (Wands) or Water (Cups). Aries,
Leo and Sagittarius are Fire signs. Taurus, Virgo and
Capricorn are Earth signs. Gemini, Libra and Aquarius
are Air signs. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are Water
signs. The twelve signs of the Zodiac are also divided
into three groups. Each of these groups is called a
quadruplicity. Each of the quadruplicities indicate a
quality of the sign. The three qualities are Cardinal,
Fixed and Mutable. These qualities denote the sign's
interaction with the outside world. Aries, Cancer, Libra
and Capricorn are Cardinal signs. They are outgoing,
creative and enterprising. Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and
Aquarius are Fixed signs. They are resistant to change
and perfectionists. Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces
are Mutable signs. They are flexible and adaptable to
change.
If you have taken some dramatic action to try and force
the outcome of a reading, i.e. "Well the cards said he/she
was going to call next week and it was going to be okay
so I'll just go ahead and call him/her tonight or maybe I'll
just go over there and see what's happening.", you will
change the outcome of the reading and learn a hard lesson
about impatience. We always have the power to change
our future in either a positive or a negative way. Our
thoughts, words and deeds in relation to information
gleaned from a reading can change the probable direction
shown in a reading and, therefore, any time frame which
may have been indicated.
Our futures are not carved in stone or tattooed on our
foreheads.
Have some fun with this and see how it works for you.
Hello -
For a long time now, I dream about specific events in
the future and then forget the dreams. The only time I
remember what I've dreamt about is when whatever
takes place!
Its like deja vu and a replay in slow motion as I realize
that I've seen this event before! Can you tell me why
this is happening? Thanks.
Hello,
You obviously have a capacity for precognitive dreams.
To harness this gift so that it can become helpful to you
in life, it would be best to start a dream journal. It is
helpful to suggest to yourself before falling asleep that
you WILL remember whatever dreams. Upon
awakening in the AM or even while half conscious when
you realize the dream is over during the night, get a pen
and penlight and record the basics of your dream in a note-
book. Date these entries and leave a good amount of
space between them. Then when the event unfolds, go
back to the notebook and add that new information under
the original dream with the appropriate date.
This process will eventually help you understand how
long to expect between a dream and the real event, and
will also help you to evaluate just how accurate your
dream was originally. When you have that type of
information you could begin to make predictions based
on your dreams, which might be very helpful for you or
those you care about.
I hope this answer has helped you in some way.
Bests - Atham Z
Clover, one of the first plants cultivated by man, has
been highly regarded since ancient times. The three
leaf clover was associated with the Christian Trinity,
and in pre Christian times with the triad goddesses of
the Greeks and the Romans and the sacred sun wheel
of the Celts. In the middle ages it was considered a
charm against witches. The national flower of Ireland,
the three leaf clover was said to have been planted
there by St. Patrick because of its Christian symbolism.
(Wood Sorrel is considered by some authorities to be
the true Shamrock, rather than the clover.)
The rare four-leaf clover, also a Christian symbol with
its four leaves representing the form of the cross, was
said to enable its wearer to ward off evil (including
witches), to see fairies and various spirits, to heal
illnesses, to have good fortune, and to escape military
service. According to an old medieval folk rhyme, each
leaf of a four-leaf clover represents a different aspect
of happiness. One leaf stood for fame; the second,
wealth; the third for a faithful lover; and fourth for
excellent health. Together these qualities could be said
to represent the epitome of good fortune, a completely
happy life. The five-leaf clover was said to be unlucky
and the two-leaf clover was supposed to enable a maid
to see her future lover. Happy hunting!
